Tooth Fairy Fail

Getting Noah to pull his front tooth took two or three days of drama. He finally did pull it himself without help from his dad or Papa Rand, who both offered their services multiple times. In fact we have video, that had we planned better, could almost be Clare tooth pull next generation.

All that aside we were so pleased when he finally got it out and he was so excited cause now the tooth fairy could come. He'd even asked me earlier if the tooth fairy could just come pull it for him.

Now you will be able to imagine how hard and fast my heart sunk when the next morning Noah burst from his room to find me at the kitchen table drinking my coffee and says with stunned excitement, "mom! The tooth fairy forgot to come last night!"

Fail. Panic. So in good parenting form I say, "go tell your dad." Who saves the day by telling him that she had a very busy night and will probably come while we are at church. And she did. And she won't ever forget again.

  1. Awesome! And wow, Noah is looking SO grown up. How great that he asked if the tooth fairy could just come pull out his tooth - haha! Papa Rand told Jonathan that Noah had a loose tooth situation that made him think of Jon. Well-documented, Chelle. Man, we miss you guys!
