Catching Up...again

Since my last post we have had A LOT of good times! And since I made a goal of posting once a month on my blog here comes the low down.

This year for spring break we took a one night trip to Spokane & Coeur d'alene. We ate at our family favorite Red Robin, and for the main even took the boys to Chuck E. Cheese! They loved it. The only downer was Aaron wasn't too thrilled to see Chuck E. appear in costume!

Aaron, not happy about Chuck E. too cute not to post!

This April Jordan bought our family a boat. I dare say it's a small dream come true. He is really excited to take it to the cabin this summer. If you could have only seen the look on his face when I asked recently, "do we really need to take the boat to the cabin?" (cause I thought driving the mini-van would be more comfortable). Oh we are taking the boat. We are driving the truck. This is happening friends.
I, of course, am hoping that history doesn't entirely repeat its self and we bring back a boat that works.
(And for Jordan's brother's who are reading this you might ask him about our prop, a rock, and our first jaunt up river out Asotin way, let's just say we haven't gone back that way yet...)

Aaron's first and only tube ride to date...predicated upon the promise of 10 cookies.

Noah is learning to drive. He'll probably be more proficient at driving the boat before I will be. Fact.

On Memorial Day we surprised the kids with their first trip to Silverwood Theme Park. Police & fireman were free and their families were half price. When we arrived 2 men met us at the entrance and gave us 3 tickets! All we had to pay was one half price child pass, which meant our family of 5 ended up only paying 11 bucks to get in! What a blessing, we were in awe.
We rode as many rides as we could, ate junk food galore, and enjoyed a delightful magic show!
Even Aaron rode Tremors! Tremors. He didn't even cry! By the end of the day he had figured out to try and stand on his tip toes to make sure he met the height requirement of every ride.
We concluded our day with dinner at Texas Roadhouse Grill, our new family favorite!

At the beginning of June we made a trip to Seattle to visit Joel & Hope and Jonathan & Emily and what a great visit that was!! I really enjoyed seeing where everyone lives and being in their homes, there is just something special about that. I am also very happy to be blessed with family that can cook! We had some great meals and wonderful hosts. The best/cutest part was seeing how happy the all the kids were to see each other, it was pretty touching.

Last but not least, this past weekend we went to pick Noah up from Camp Spalding. This was his second camp experience. He had a good time. Next year we send 2 kids to camp!!
Man, time does fly!
